How to Check Graphics Card in Windows 8/7/xp.

Graphic card working is somewhat complex but the basic principle of Graphics card is to decide how to show pixel on monitor .

First the CPU sends the binary data to be displayed to the Graphics card where the Graphics card decides how to display them on screen.It is useful in displaying images/animations etc.


Many people not aware of the fact how to check the Graphics card memory.


Here's the solution......


Step 1:-  Click on Start then go to Run command

Step 2:- Type dxdiag in run command

Step 3:- Now you will get Direct Diagnostic Tool window.

Step 4:-  Click on Display tab.


You will get details like manufacturer name, version ,memory of your Graphics card,Current display mode etc.

You can also get more details about Intel graphic drivers using this trick

Press ctrl + alt + F12

Now you will get the Intel Graphics and media control option where you can get complete details about your graphics card.......
